lizard lizard ):
Today we mourn the death of yet another of our squishy friends, Mr Lizard No256.
The wretched creature was found squashed between the door and the door frame, once again. My door has been anointed with lizard juices, once again.
I dare not walk through that doorway, once again.
squish, squish, squish.
Look what you are stepping on.
ooooh.
Rubbery.
I love adding the occasional excitement to your otherwise drab and boring life.

gameboy colour
I suddenly find the brick-like nintendo gameboy colour very attractive. Its all about the old school thickness of the old gameboy systems. Don't get me wrong, I still think the ds lite is wonderful and desirable.
I have always loved thick stuff. I still remember the days when I would find all the thickest books in the house and write: 'This book belongs to Zenia' in my childish scrawl (my handwriting now, is unfortunately still horrible).
One of those books happened to be PP's engineering manual. Its approximately the thickness of 2 harry potter and the order of the phoenix books put together. I still remember it contained a lot of words, and some drawings of toilet bowls. heh.
I am such a weirdo. Anyone has a working nintendo gbc? With game cartridges?

the new lg chocolate is freaking cool
The new lg chocolate looks like a bar of chocolate. really. Its so amazing its almost ridiculous. The panoramic screen is utter indulgence. AWESOME.
Did I mention how awesome it was?
Anyway, reading the issue on Malaysia's food heritage being hijacked (article on yahoo), I couldn't help but feel slightly angry. Its not like they are the only country who have migrants from china and other countries. Its like they are claiming all the glory. The cheek.

blogger is normal now
AHH EYAs IN 3 WEEKS.
I'm shocked by how fast time flies. I secretly think that the world is rotating faster or something. Wasn't I just about starting to enjoy my december holidays in 2008? And now its already 2009 and I'm one year older, grown a lot more white hair, and still none the wiser.
Right now I'm trying not to stare blankly at my newly acquired and wonderfully blank maths worksheet on the entertaining topic of circular measures. It has the just-came-out-of-the-copier smell.
Ya lah, I'm so ridiculously bored that I actually smell my worksheets. heh. Just that my nose happens to be blocked now so the smell is probably just a figment of my imagination.
I am glad to inform that my worksheet just received a showering of germs and saliva.

BB and PP
Ever since my brother got his driver's license, PP has been forcing him to practice by driving himself back to army camp, while PP sits beside him in the car, and MP and I, being kay-poh, sit behind to watch.
BB(hands gripping wheel tightly): Eh papa, can help me turn the aircon away from me.
PP(fiddles around with the aircon settings): You crazy ah? Why can't you free one hand to adjust? Your nose itchy how? I scratch for you issit?
teehee. Somehow I'm not looking forward to learning how to drive.

the ipod evolution
Seeing that blogger does not want to cooperate with me and let me upload images, I have decided to do a blah post again. I originally thought of documenting the whole history of the quintessential iPod and its iterations here. :D
You should thank blogger that you are not facing a page full geek stuff on the iPod and its journey and growth through the years. I say growth, but it has actually shrunk into the anorexic and oh-so-shiny must-have gadget we all know today.
*jumps up and down in excitement* I am going to document the 'ipod evolution' in a powerpoint!
Am i geek or what.

COMEX 2009 was A W E S O M E!
Valerie pang the geek accompanied me to COMEX and we happily smudged our fingerprints all over the shiny screens of the latest in mobile phone technology. Stuff like the lg crystal, iphone3gs, htc magic blahblahblah. :D
Of course, I also managed to take a poke at her newly-bought samsung jet. Oh, we successfully hung the lg crystal display set in our geeky eagerness and excitement. heh. Luckily the singtel guy didn't chase us away.
Got to the sony booth, and we spent all our 50 bucks on earphones, which I do not regret buying, considering that while using them, I hear more bass details in my music. The pang of course, bought the pink set, while I got the expensive-looking black ones. :D
Found the samsung st550 somewhere and its really cool. Obviously the sales guy thought we were potential customers, since he spent a lot of time explaining its features while we poked around. I feel sorry for the poor guy. He wasted his time on a bunch of geeky goons who had empty wallets. We just nodded all along anyway. teehee. hee.
Spent the rest of the time drooling over macbooks, ipods, and empty portable hard drives (valerie, not me k). Typical. Val also spotted some mickey mouse disney branded mp3 player that cost 49 bucks or something like that.
YOU WILL NOT REGRET GOING TO COMEX 2009.
That is, if you have no problem with crowds and over full carparks.

Apple fans rejoice, the new generation of ipod nano, and ipod touch has been unveiled! And you are probably holding the ipod nano chromatic you just bought and cursing under your breath. HAHA. The wonders of technology.
ipod touch now comes with a whopping 64gb of memory, enough to house tons of videos and movies. Meanwhile, ipod nano now sports a video camera, a bigger screen, fm tuner, all while keeping the same price!

dumdidum :D
Blogger is expectedly, still screwed.
Went to eat at seoul garden with PP and the big bro after CCA. I am still quite hungry leh. D:
After lunch we went to best denki to ogle at nice techy stuff. Techy stuff for PP means food processors and refrigerators. Techy stuff for me means real techy stuff, like cameras and laptops.
Geek pick of the week:
Samsung st550.

Its winning feature is that it has 2 screens! Gimmicky. Still a nice innovation though. Saw it in Digital life last week too.

3.5" touch screen at the back. Sorry about the huge pictures, too lazy to resize them. teehee.
You already knew long ago that I am a materialistic goon-head, so stop complaining.

maple
Woo haven't blogged in a long time. My life was boring and blah-ish the past few days.
Anyway, after stoning for 15mins one day, i decided that I was going to play maple story again. It took me a whole day to download the freaking client.
They have started this whole new class of jobs called Knights of Cygnus, added Malaysia to the already long list of maps, and dumped a huge bunch of new quests into my quest list.
Oh and after like 4 years of arduous training, I have finally advanced to 3rd job. woohoo! Ya lah I know that is superbly slow, but its not like you did any better. heh.
I love the music in Ellinia.
